WMCC will hold the 3rd Annual Grand Auto Show on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the main campus in Berlin. Last year 60 cars entered for "best of show" trophies. Organizers hope to grow the event this year. If you own a grand auto, plan to bring it to the show. The event is not limited to cars. Bring your tractor, motorcycle or any grand pr interesting vehicle you have on wheels. The event has proven to be a huge success and $2,000 was awarded in scholarship money last year to assist automotive students with their education. Donations for the scholarship and items for the silent action are welcome.
In addition to the auto show, the college will provide testing on the Mustang Chassis Dynamometer. You must sign up ahead of time to put your vehicle on the dynamometer. Music will be provided by Tim Dion and WMCC's Culinary program will prepare food for purchase. Admission and/or car entry are free, but donations will be accepted at the door. The event is open to the public, so mark your calendars and plan to spend part of the day checking out all of the interesting vehicles.
The rain date for the event is Sunday, May 7. Organizers of the Grand Auto Show thank their generous sponsors from the past who include: Northway Bank, NH Auto Dealers Association, Berlin City Auto Group, Mountain View Grand Resort, Rymes Propane & Oil, White Mountain Cruisers, Mt.
