The 19 voting members of the CCSNH Board of Trustees are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Executive Council. The members represent business & industry, education, health care, law enforcement, vocational education, labor, WMCC students and alumni, the community service sector, and the public. The Board sets Strategic Goals for the System and provides oversight at the policy level for the colleges within the System.
Ex-officio members of the Board of Trustees include the Governor of the State of New Hampshire, the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of the CCSNH, the Commissioner of the NH Department of Education, the Commissioner of the NH Department of Resources and Economic Development, and the Presidents of each Community College.
