White Mountains Community College Early College Program

Attention high school seniors!

Here is your chance to earn college credit that will also count toward your high school requirements! Speak with your guidance counselor about enrolling in the North Country Early College Program at WMCC.

What is Early College?

The Early College Program allows high school seniors and selected junior's an opportunity to get special courses and programs at any of our locations in Berlin, Littleton, and Conway. In addition selected courses are available as online courses. These courses give students marketable skills and a head start on earning college credit.

Entrance into college courses at the White Mountains Community College is limited to availability of seats. Successful completion of the course means you will have college credit to use at WMCC or to transfer to another institution. Upon approval by your high school, the course can also be counted toward your high school requirements if applicable. Students may be allowed release time from high school to attend the course at WMCC (or one of our academic centers in Littleton or Conway.)

Selection Process

Seats will be given to students with suitable academic backgrounds and those who exhibit the maturity level to deal with adult situations.

Requirements

Early College courses are available for one-half the cost of the course, plus the books. Students can apply for courses that are offered in the fall, spring or summer semesters.

Application to the North Country Early College Program should be discussed and submitted in the spring with your guidance counselor help. Selection is limited.
