Would You Like to Work in a High Demand Field With Excellent Pay and Benefits?
Surveying Technology is an exciting field that offers the student the ability to use the latest technology both in the office and outdoors in a small hands-on class environment.
The demand for surveyors has never been greater and the Surveying Technology Program at White Mountains Community College offers students two ways to get into this exciting and rewarding field: (1) Test the waters by enrolling in the one-year professional certificate program and get the field skills you need to get a job; (2) Stay on for the second year, earn an Associate in Science Degree, and get the advanced training that you need to be a survey technician and work toward registration as a professional Licensed Land Surveyor.
We offer small class sizes that emphasize actual project work both in the field and in the office. You'll learn by actually doing and you'll enter the workforce with the skills that you need to succeed.
The college has the latest in computers, software and surveying equipment such as electronic total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors. You will be trained on the same equipment being used by the companies that will hire you.
