Health Science Technology Certificate
The Health Science Technology certificate program is designed for the student seeking courses in the biological sciences who plans further education in the area of allied health. The certificate also incorporates English, social science, and math courses to facilitate employment in an entry-level position requiring a knowledge of science. *NOTE: The Health Science Program requires a grade of C+ in BBIO114, BBIO115, and BBIO211. Students must meet prerequisites for all courses.
For Level 1 applicants to the Nursing program, proof of the following high school courses (and a grade of C or better) must be provided: Biology with lab, Chemistry with lab & Algebra I. In addition to these courses, MAT089 or CHE089 or both may be required dependent on college-admission placement test scores or lack of prerequisites.
