In Her Own Words:
I started my nursing career almost 15 years ago at the New Hampshire Community Technical College at Berlin. My excellent education at the college served as the foundation to a truly rewarding profession. The education I received prepared me to hold positions in a hospital setting that included medical/surgical, intensive care, nursing supervision, critical care transport, and the emergency department. When I decided to further my education in nursing I easily transitioned into an RN to BSN program which was completed within two years. I'm now due to graduate in May of 2007 with my Master of Science in Nursing and have just joined the New Hampshire Community College as a clinical nursing instructor at the freshman level. I hope to serve as a role model to future New Hampshire Community Technical College nursing students by showing them first hand how valuable their education and clinical is to any professional goals to which nursing students may aspire.
