White Mountains Community College was the site of a Peace Officers Memorial/Appreciation Ceremony as part of National Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week 2008. Representatives of all branches of law enforcement were in attendance, dressed in full regalia. New Hampshire's Roll of Honor was read by Frank Dumaine, Coordinator of the Criminal Justice program at WMCC. The roll of honor is comprised of the 42 law enforcement individuals who have died in the line of duty. The ceremony began with the presentation of the flags. The color guard included (l-r): Trooper First Class Seth Cooper, NH State Police; Officer Brad Willey, Berlin Police Department; Corporal Ayer Balderama, NH Department of Corrections; and Trooper Matt Favreau, NH State Police.
