Commencement is quickly approaching. The Commencement Exercise is scheduled for Friday, May 16th at 5 p.m. on the campus of White Mountains Community College. The ceremony is the culmination of your hard work and effort at White Mountains Community College. It is a celebration of your success, both academic and personal. It's a great time to share your excitement with family, friends, and fellow graduates.
Below you will find some basic information about this year's ceremony.
GRADUATION: Friday, May 16, 2014 at 5 p.m. on the campus of WMCC.
CAPS AND GOWNS: Caps and Gowns will be available for pickup beginning April 28th at the main office reception window (*Note: Nursing students will pick up in the Nursing department. Littleton students, should contact Lorraine at the reception desk in Littleton to make arrangements for pick-up).
INVITATIONS: Graduates are provided a minimum of four invitations for family and friends. If you have additional guests, please invite them to the ceremony. Invitations will be distributed along with caps and gowns.
REHEARSAL:Friday, May 16th at 2:30 p.m. It is very important that you attend. Graduates will line up alphabetically by program in the hallway outside of the library and proceed to the tent.
TASSLES: Honors and High Honors tassels will be distributed at rehearsal.
PTK STOLES: Don't forget to bring your stole to the ceremony, if you have ordered one.
GUEST SPEAKER: New Hampshire State Senator Jeff Woodburn
PHOTOGRAPHY:A professional photographer will be at the ceremony taking pictures of each graduate as they receive their diploma. Each graduate will receive one 8 X 10 and two 5 X 7 pictures. Additional photos may be purchased and information will be made available to the graduates.
