Our mission is to offer high quality, student-centered educational and support services that lead to a stronger foundation in academic mastery and successful employment.

What is the Academic Success Center
TThe Academic Success Center (ASC) is a support service staffed by professional educators, which provides academic skills assistance to White Mountains Community College students. We are dedicated to promoting a responsive learning environment to the best of our capacity for all students.     Academic Success Center

Who uses the ASC?
White Mountains Community College students have full access to ASC services on the Berlin, Littleton and North Conway campuses. Services are free to students enrolled in credit courses.

Tutoring

The Academic Success Center offers two types of tutoring. The first is for math problems or math homework and for writing assignments. Sessions typically lasts 5 - 15 minutes depending on the complexity of the assignment. This service is provided by ASC staff or peer tutors and is available during hours of operation. For more complex assistance, appointments are recommended.

The Academic Success Center also offers tutoring to students in various subjects, at all three locations. Students requiring tutoring in any subjects should fill out a request for tutoring.
