Career Ed-Ventures Camp

The Career Ed-Ventures camp is designed to engage students in critical thinking and hands-on activities at the WMCC Berlin campus as they explore areas of Criminal Justice, Early Child and Teacher Education, and Human Services. A Safe Sitter training will be provided on the third day.

Veterinary Science Summer Camp
July 18-July 22 | 10am-3:30pm
Led by a veterinarian, with guest speakers from various animal care background, this camp has a strong focus on experiential learning both at the WMCC North Conway Academic Center, and through field trips. Designed for students who love animals, wish to work with animals or may even be considering a veterinary career of any kind. You will explore such topics as animal behavior, basic first aid and medical care, anatomy, exotic animals, collecting samples, and performing lab text, administering medications, working with horses and farm animals, bandaging and the basics of animal surgery.
Open to grades 9 through 12. Tuition: $200

Safe Sitter Essentials
Wednesday, June 29 | 8:30am-3pm
Safe Sitter is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students learn:
Safety Skills, Child Care Skills, First Aid & Rescue Skills, Life & Business Skills.
