Library Mission

The mission of the White Mountains Community College library is to support the College’s mission by ensuring high quality services and access to library resources for all users. To promote information literacy and lifelong learning, the library provides an environment conducive to learning, research, and study as well as providing instruction to students, faculty, and staff.

Library Policies

Borrowing Materials

Community members may acquire a library card with a photo ID.

Loan Period

Book and magazines may be checked out for 3 weeks. Materials may be renewed unless there are holds on them.

Overdue Materials

Borrowers who have not returned their materials by the due date will receive a notice from the Library. Failure to return materials in a timely manner may result in a replacement fine.  

Computer Use

Computers and wi-fi available for use. Community members may use library equipment for a maximum of 2 hours per day. All computer or network users must abide by the CCSNH Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy.

Child Use Policy

Children are always welcome in our library. Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult; children 12 and over must be in direct contact with parents and may be asked to leave if disruptive. The Library cannot assume responsibility for the safety of young children. Please note: There are no filters on any of the library computers.

Food & Drink

Food & Drink are welcome in the library. Please alert us of any spills, etc.

Cellphone Use

Please be mindful of others trying to study while using your cellphone. You may be asked to move your conversation to the hallway or to place your phone on silent.
