Pell Grant

The federal Pell Grant does not have to be paid back.   In order to determine if you are eligible, you need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form every year you are in college.  Amounts can change yearly and will depend on, your financial need, cost of attendance, and prorated based on actual enrollment status (full-time, or part-time). Pell is for undergraduate students, if you have earned a bachelor’s degree, you are not eligible for Pell. Pell is limited to no more than 12 full-time semesters or the equivalent, which is roughly six years. 

SEOG – Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

The federal SEOG is a grant that does not have to be paid back. Eligibility is determined by your financial need as determined by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form every year you are in college. SEOG is a limited funded program, determined by the availability of funds provided to the college from the Department of Education.

Unique Annual Scholarship

The Unique Annual Scholarship is a State of New Hampshire grant for students who demonstrate exceptional financial need. The Unique Scholarship does not have to be paid back. The student must be a New Hampshire resident, must be enrolled at least half-time (6 or more credits) and have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by December 31 of the financial aid year. Scholarships are prorated, based on a student’s actual enrollment each semester.
