Late Start 8-week courses at White Mountains Community College begin October 26. Courses are available online, and on campus and include highly transferrable general education electives as well as Business, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, and Industrial Mechanics classes.

Students who have graduated from high school are eligible for nearly $3 million in available Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR) tuition assistance. The grants are available to help students living in households negatively impacted by COVID-19, and eligible students may qualify for free tuition which can be applied towards the Late Start courses. The deadline to submit applications for GOFERR tuition assistance is November 30, 2020.

High school students who would like to take advantage of the Early College program are also able to enroll in the Late Start courses. Through Early College, high school students can take classes at a discounted rate and earn both high school and college credit.
