Provides students with the opportunity to supplement coursework with practical work experience related to their educational program. Students work under the immediate supervision of experienced personnel at a veterinary hospital and with the direct guidance of the instructor. This clinical experience provides students with practical day to day experience in handling and restraint of animals, assisting with office procedures, clinical laboratory techniques, and surgical preparation. (Prerequisite: VETA101W, 103W, 105W, 107W and 109W with a grade of “C” or better; Co-requisite:  VETA113W)
