Total months of active duty will determine percentage of education benefits – 40 to 100%; VA makes this determination

Supply school with certificate of eligibility that shows months of eligibility and percentage of benefits
BAH eligibility – student must be 51% of full-time status; VA pays in arrears
Book stipend – VA pays up to $1,000 per year depending on percentage of eligibility; VA pays no sooner than two weeks prior to the start of the semester
