Applicants may need to submit an official High School transcript or GED – HiSET to be officially admitted to a WMCC Associate Degree or Certificate program.. Transfer students should also have official college / university transcripts sent to WMCC in order to have prior credits evaluated for transfer.
Complete Financial Aid Forms
The Student Financial Services office uses information from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine if students are eligible to receive federal student aid from grants, loans, and work-study programs. WMCC’s Title IV code is 005291.
Details will be posted in January about anticipated federal funds for spring, as a result of the December 2020 US Congressional legislation: Congressional agreement on COVID-19 would give higher ed $23 billion.

Transfer Opportunities:
Transferring from WMCC to another college or university has never been easier.
Two convenient ways have been created for WMCC students to transfer.
Dual Admission:
If you know at the time of application to WMCC that you would like to transfer to the University of New Hampshire, Plymouth State University, Keene State College, or Granite State College, apply for Dual Admission. Students in the Dual NH Admissions program will receive advising to chart a seamless transfer pathway.
Here’s how to get started:
- Apply to WMCC and indicate on the application that you would like to enroll in the Dual Admission Program.
- Once you have been accepted you will meet with a WMCC advisor to learn more details.
- Sign a Dual Admission Program agreement outlining the program requirements. Admission to the University System of New Hampshire is guaranteed by maintaining a 2.5 grade point average and earning a grade of C or better in every course. It is important to talk to an academic advisor as you plan your courses.
Traditional Transfer:
Many students decide to begin their education at WMCC and then continue onto another institution after graduation. You can begin the transfer process at any time while attending WMCC, and it’s never too late. If you are interested in transferring to a four-year college or university, please speak with your academic advisor or transfer counselor for assistance.
With increased transferability of courses and programs at WMCC, greater opportunities now exist. The Liberal Arts Degree is designed to offer you an opportunity to take the first two years of a college program and transfer to four-year institutions.
WMCC students have successfully transferred credits to higher education institutions throughout the country. If you’re considering completing your higher education journey in New Hampshire has been created to assist you in the transfer process. This website contains a database that indicates which courses from WMCC transfer to participating institutions. Having this information could reduce the number of courses needed to earn a degree and save you both time and money.
It is recommended that all students enrolled in any WMCC program talk with an advisor to learn about all the transfer options available.
