Students will become familiar with all the general safety precautions of the welding environment, including use of tools and PPE, cutting and arc welding safety, hazardous substances and job site regulations such as OSHA and SDS’s. This course must be taken concurrent with welding courses. (Co-requisites: WELD106W, WELD110W, WELD115W, WELD125W or POI)
