The Introduction to Programmable Logic Controls course introduces students to the history and development of Programmable Logic Controls. This self-paced online course explores the main parts of a PLC system, including how a PLC works, installation wiring diagrams, basic programming symbols and logic, and basic troubleshooting. This 41 hour time-on-task self- directed non-credit course is intended for those in the skilled trades, manufacturing or maintenance fields, but have limited or no experience with PLCs.  E-book included.
