All students are strongly encouraged to reach out to their academic advisor before completing this process.

Completion of this form documents a student’s intent to withdraw from the college.

Registered students who complete a college withdrawal can expect the following results on their academic record.

  1. If students never attend a registered course, no course or grade will be recorded on the students transcript.
  2. If students drop from a course during the add/drop period, no course or grade will be recorded on the students transcript.
  3. If students withdraw after the add/drop period but during the first 60 % of the term, a grade of a “W” will be awarded. A “W” grade does not affect a students GPA.
  4. If students withdraw after the first 60 % of the term, up until two weeks before the end of the semester, a grade of a “WP” or “WF” will be given.

Students who have officially withdrawn from the College may apply for readmission.

  • I understand by registering for courses at WMCC, I am financially obligated for ALL costs related to the registered course(s). Upon a drop or withdrawal, I understand that I will be responsible for all charges as noted in the student catalog and handbook. I further understand that if I do not make payment in full, my account may be reported to the credit bureau and/or turned over to an outside collection agency. I also understand that I will be responsible for the costs of the outside collection agency, any legal fees, and any bounced check fees under RSA 6:11, which will add significant costs to my account balance.
