Special Topics in the Humanities is a full-semester course that examines a topic  of the students’ choice, a prospectus having been approved by the department. (Prerequisites: ENGL120W and three additional credits in English)

Summer 2021: Wilderness Therapy

Wilderness Therapy introduces students to and educates them in the growing field of Wilderness/Adventure Therapy. Students learn about the history, theory, and the ethical practice of Wilderness/Adventure Therapy. Topics include current research, essential skills, personal development, and the development of the field. Students personally and professional develop in writing their own personal-growth plan to pursue employment in the field of Wilderness therapy.
